I’ve fiddled with these a bit in post as I was lacking in colours on the day. I’ll also have to be more careful to obscure the flash head next time. Smart erase FTW.

Also next time, I’ll pick a space I can stand up in.

I had a quick go at coloured flash light painting at Northackton on Monday.

Hobbycraft’s Really Useful Box 0.14 Transparent boxes fit perfectly over the head of an sb800 flash and work really well. I’ll be back for more colours soon.

Home made bokeh cap. Fits neatly over my 50mm lens. Rotates as I focus which is a bit of a pain but it fits snugly which is more important.

The aperture card pushes out so I can put in other shapes, although I only made one to start with.
