Beginning Easter weekend this year I hiked The Cape Wrath Trail.
I had excellent conditions for it and I completed the walk in about two weeks.
It's a lovely day to start a hike. #CapeWrathTrail here we go!

I should mention that the Carnach river was only ankle deep, and all the snow is gone from the high point before Shiel Bridge.

If the weather stays nice you'll pass those points without trouble.
Arrived at Achnashellach station. Pausing my hike here and taking public transport to a hotel. Tomorrow is a much needed day off, and then I'll return to walking.

Next stop after Oykel Bridge was Loch Bealach a'Mhadaidh. The first flat piece of land from miles, and just where I needed it to be. pic.twitter.com/90SuZoDQOA

Things I've lost so far: A left hand glove, an inner lid from an MSI spice rocket, 1 tent peg, and the insole from my right shoe!

I almost lost my water bottle too, but another hiker picked it up and returned it to me.
This is unprecedented, I'm usually so good with my stuff.
Yesterday's inclement weather had me sheltering in Strathchailleach bothy. No beach camping for me. pic.twitter.com/uOdS0NnVM1
